You can use this power supply to power the opener directly. The device is easy to install and comes with four holes on the upper cover for attaching it to the post with screws. The red and yellow wires of the DPS180-U power supply should be connected into “BAT+” and “BAT-” terminals on the control board separately. Please note that the DPS180-U power supply cannot be used to charge the battery or work with the solar panel kit. The charging time for the solar panels to charge the battery depends on the charging power of the solar panels, the battery capacity and the sunshine time.
