Answer: the elastic was already stretched out when i received. very cheap. suppose to fit a toddler but can't keep them on my 4 yr old granchildren. would not suggest buying them. i would pay more for a better quality pair. if i didn't have to pay shipping i would return. my grandchildren don'tuse them. -

Is that hard plastic on the wristguards? I am wondering if these would work for riding a scooter. Would they inhibit a good handlebar grip?
Answer: Yes they are hard plastic just like on the knee and elbow guards. As to if it would inhibit good handlebar grip it really depends on the size of the hands. The hard plastic wrist pieces do seem rather large on my 6 year old daughter and my 4 year old son. Even so they have no problems with gripping their bycicle handlebars. -

Answer: I would say yes. We bought 3 pair - one for each of our kids. They fit our 6 and 7 year old, but were too big for our 5 year old until he got a little older. -
