Can these be used for hex bar deadlifting?
Answer: They are not ideal for hex bar deadlifting as it may put you off center. They are best suited for straight bar lifting.
IRON APE Straps Editorial Review
The IRON APE Figure 8 Straps are heavy duty cotton straps aimed at weight lifting, deadlifts, weightlifting and shrugs. These straps come in four different sizes and are available in black with orange stitching. The lengths from end-to-end are 11" for the larges and 9" for the mediums, with the total length of material being approximately 32" in the large and 28" in the mediums. Customers have been asking for advice on sizing, with one user reporting 9" wrists needing the XL size but with the option of shortening them if needed. Another user with 7" circumference reported the mediums fitting tightly around the bar.
