The LG 10,000 BTU air conditioner is a reliable and efficient unit that cools spaces quickly and quietly. The unit is easy to install either through the wall or in a window and produces minimal condensation drip when installed correctly. The cord has a reset button and the model has an energy-saving button. The noise level is low, only producing a pleasing white noise whoosh of the fan. However, some customers reported experiencing loud rattling noise with the unit or the compressor getting stuck and running nonstop. Also note that the older models have styrofoam, which can make cleaning a bit harder, but the newer models do not. The brackets come with it and work just fine. The size listed on some websites may be incorrect, and the unit should last for a few seasons.
