The Granite Stash Bicycle Chain Repair Tool Kit Set offers a lightweight and utilitarian design, allowing riders to easily fix chain issues while out on the road or trail. The tool is compatible with 9 to 12 speed chains and stores conveniently in the handlebar. One key feature of this tool is its compact design, which allows for easy storage and accessibility. Users can simply slide the tool into their bar end and secure it in place with the included hex bolt. It can also be installed in hollow cranks without the need for additional parts. The inclusion of master link storage is a nice touch, providing a convenient place to store spare links. While the tool is generally well-received, there have been some reports of durability issues. One reviewer mentioned that the bolt used to remove the chain pin snapped after only two uses. However, despite this issue, they still found the tool useful enough to purchase another one. Another reviewer mentioned that they received a broken tool as a gift, indicating poor quality for the price. There have also been comments about the tool's installation and potential rattling issues. Some users found that the tool rattled when stored in the handlebars, causing noise against the body. Padding was suggested as a solution to eliminate the rattle. Overall, the Granite Stash Bicycle Chain Repair Tool Kit Set offers a compact and practical solution for riders who want to be prepared for chain issues on their rides. While there have been some durability concerns and installation issues reported, many users find the tool to be well-designed and useful.
