Question:
Why do I need to cut it if there is spade circle hooks?
Answer: I bought this item and cut the cable down to the length I needed to wire it to my doorbell and reach the power socket. I also replaced the spade circle connectors for ease of connection to the doorbell once cut. It still works perfectly. -

What is the width, height, and depth (excluding the pins) please?
Answer: The power supply is approximately 3 inches square and the lead, excluding the pins, was approximately 2 meters long and easy to fit. -

Do I need to remove the battery connection?
Answer: No, just connect to the two screws at the back (in any order). The battery remains in place. Full and simple to follow instructions came with the transformer. -

Answer: I can't say for certain as mine isn't the doorbell 4, but as long as the ring doorbell 4 is no more than 24 volts AC, I would say it'd be fine. -

Answer: There are 2 circle spades on the end. If you have 2 screws on the back of your doorbell, yes it will work. You unscrew the screws, put the circle spade (washer style) on first, then attach the screws again. -

I connected ring doorbell 2, but charging the battery from 45% to 54% takes over 1 day. Is it normal?
Answer: No, not normal. Mine would be fully charged in a few hours. My friend has it now, I upgraded to a wired one, but she is still using it with no problems. It could be the battery is faulty or the charger. -

Can you put the plug indoors or can it put outside if you have a plug switch in a box outside?
Answer: As long as the plug is deep enough and protected from weather, you could be okay. The power lead is quite long. -
