Answer: LONG DISTANCE JOGGING/WALKING = GREAT----------GENERAL ON-YOUR-FEET ALL DAY TYPE STUFF=GREAT-----UNEVEN TERRAIN/RUNNING=BAD IDEA I'd say they are good for jogging, but their soles are quite thick raising the center of gravity about an inch off the ground. In cross country running that's a recipe for a twisted or sprained ankle. For flat out competitive hard surface running, they are just too heavy and bulky. -
