The Proxxon Engraver is a decent pantograph for the size it is intended for, it works well and can be a good starting point for your needs. However, it is not a turnkey solution at this price point. The font included is plastic, and each letter has to be taken apart by hand and filed, then attached to the main plastic mold. Some customers have reported that certain parts were not included and needed to be purchased separately. This means that the initial purchase price is misleading, and additional pieces could cost over $250 to make the rig work correctly. The device is adjustable, with two sets of letters and numbers from A to Z, numbers 0-9, hyphen, full stop, and dash. It can engrave on various materials, even firearms, but not inside jewelry. Overall, while the Proxxon engraving device can be useful for basic tasks, it's not without its limitations and to be aware of additional costs.
