- FOR WINTER EMERGENCIES: This fuel additive is specially designed as an emergency use product only. For preventative measures against gelling, use Opti-Lube XPD or Winter Formulas instead.
- DE-ICES FROZEN FUEL FILTERS: To de-ice your frozen fuel filter, simply remove the fuel filter and fill it with 50% Gel Melt and 50% diesel fuel. Then, reinstall the fuel filters and start the engine.
- TREATS DIESEL GELLING: Diesel gelling occurs when cold temperatures cause your fuel to turn from liquid to gel. Opti-Lube’s Gel Melt can revert this process, returning your fuel to its normal state. EASY TO USE: Add several ounces of gel melt to every 10 gallons of fuel in your tank. Remove fuel filters and fill with 50% gel melt and 50% diesel fuel. Reinstall fuel filters and start the engine.
- COMPATIBLE WITH BIODIESEL BLENDS: This unique formula is compatible with both diesel and biodiesel blends. This includes ULSD and biodiesel blends containing up to 20% biodiesel (B20).
- TREAT UP TO 100 GALLONS:With your order you will receive 1 Quart of Opti-Lube Gel Melt. Quart can treat up to 100 Gallons of diesel fuel.
