American Standard M962818-0070A FLAT AEREATOR KIT

The American Standard M962818-0070A Flat Aerator Kit has garnered a mix of positive and critical responses from customers, reflecting a range of experiences focused primarily on its functionality and ease of use. Many users appreciate that the product works as intended, effectively fitting various models of faucets and performing its job well. Several reviewers emphasized the importance of retaining the model number of their fixtures to facilitate the purchasing of compatible parts. One of the common challenges noted by customers is the difficulty in removing the existing aerator. Users reported frustration with the included tool, stating that the hook is not sturdy enough and can bend during use, which necessitated the use of additional tools like needle-nosed pliers for extraction. Furthermore, some customers cautioned that the process might lead to damaging the old aerator, which is a concern for those who prefer to handle plumbing tasks without causing additional issues. While performance and compatibility were praised, the kit's high cost relative to its components was a recurring observation. Some users felt that they were primarily paying for the aerator itself rather than the accompanying tools. Concerns were also raised about the material quality, as a few reviewers described it as feeling "cheap" and mentioned that the water output appeared to be uneven. In summary, the American Standard M962818-0070A Flat Aerator Kit is a functional product that serves its purpose but comes with challenges in installation and higher price points. **
