Top Race Excavators TR-211 Editorial Review
The RC Excavator is a complex and well-made toy that is able to handle sand very well. It has a remote-operated grapple that opens and closes easily, and a 680-degree rotating cab that allows for continuous rotation for more immersive play. While there are no tips, the toy is self-explanatory, but it is important to stop the motor when a movement reaches its limit as the grinding will wear away gears. The toy has a lithium battery pack that takes about three hours to charge with a standard charger, and while it is made in China, it has a great Construction built for durability. The metal shell and bucket are strong enough, and the action in the arm and bucket is very smooth. However, the bucket motor is weak and can hardly scoop even soft sand. It is important to note that it is not a top-of-the-line RC excavator and may have problems lifting slightly wet dirt or sand. Overall, the RC Excavator is a great and realistic toy that delivers immersive and fun play, even though it has a few weaknesses.
