    Answer: Yes. I used it from birth to currently almost 11 months. It wasnt actually necessary but he sometimes slouched down when he slept and I wanted his head well above the neck line. I reach for this carrier more than I do my Ergo Night Sky. :)

Maybe because he can see me better and he feels closer to me that way. I use it either way. When I'm just resting and sitting down I let the carrier rests higher.
