The shoe size before was 8.....is 8D (m) the same?
Answer: I wear a size 10 shoe. I also questioned the meaning of 10D(M). While I did not get a good answer to my question, I did purchase the 10D(M)s. They fit me perfectly! Very comfortable. -

Does 2 e mean they are a wide width?
Answer: Yes that means wide width. -
Question:
Are these still shipping without a bellows tongue? All of the reviews stating that the tongue is only sewn in at the bottom are several years old now.
Answer: The 8 pair that I have had are all just sewn at the bottom. -
Question:
how long do these shoes last roughly?
Answer: I wore them hard for 2 years before they finally started to wear out. Summer heat and winter ice and snow. 3-4 times a week I would walk 10-12K steps a day in warehouses and equipment storage yards. My feet stayed dry and comfortable. They were awesome shoes. You wont be disappointed. -

Are these good in the rain and snow?
Answer: Yes, they are good in both rain and snow. the water proofing is good for about a year, then you have to treat then with a treatment. I have not done it yet. -
Question:
Do the sizes run true or do they run small or big?
Answer: They run true but are a little narrow. I have to get the wide ones in my size, or get the next size up. But with next size up there extra room in the toes but I don’t have a problem with them slipping. -

Are these water proof or just water reisitant?
Answer: From my experience, they have been waterproof during rain and snow. However, the tongue is not a full gusset. Meaning water of significant depth could leak in through the tongue area nearest the laces. Small puddles and shallow streams have not been an issue. Hope this helps. -
Question:
I need a wider toe box. Will these do?
Answer: It has a rounded wider toe box, not narrow. -
Question:
Are the Merrell Moab lace up boots airport friendly? Will they clear a metel detector?
Answer: They clear metal detectors in the Middle East. US airports had me remove them they did everyone else so I never new.
