The legs fold under and snap into place, with a button to adjust the height on each side. The device is adjustable and doubles as a low nightstand. There are rubber feet at the end of each leg to prevent scratching on leather couches. The width between the two legs is 22.44 inches, including the thickness of the two legs. Some drawbacks include the unstableness and lack of side to side adjustment to widen or narrow the work surface.
