Answer: I highly doubt it. This mount is built to strap to a tree or pole and the portable capstan winch would hook to this with two hooks. The plate is angled downwards. It would require significant modification to mount a Smittybuilt winch and there would be no way to power the winch. -
Question:
Can you recommend a 12v portable winch for pulling beaver dams?
Answer: The tree mount winch anchor is designed for a gas powered portable winch sold by "Portable Winch Co.". I have not used a 12v portable winch and it will not work with the strap.
