  • Question: How do you know what size respirator will fit your face if you are a woman?

    Answer: I am a man with a small face and it fits fine. I do have a bit of a problem with my glasses but I can fiddle with it. Probably have the same problem with any respirator.
  • Question: Will this handle pollution in a city like Delhi or Beijing? Will it filter out pollution?

    Answer: This is a P100 rated mask, so it has the best particulate filtration efficiency and is oil proof. However, this mask will not protect against organic vapors or gases. So it depends on the type of pollutants are in the air overseas; but I do believe this will protect against most pollutants you will encounter.
  • Question: How effective are the filters when it comes to allergens? I am wanting this for outdoor recreation I get sick often because of pollen.

    Answer: I bought the filter because I was doing mold remediation, and mold spores are very small particles. I'm not an allergist, but I would think the particle size of allergens are comparable to mold spores. The filter worked well for me while doing the remediation.
  • Question: What filter refills will this take? Will the spr450 ones work?

    Answer: The two models that look the same use/are the same size filters. The only difference is whether or not they have carbon in them to deal with nuisance odors.
  • Question: How do you clean these?

    Answer: Hi, I use mine for wood dust protection, so I take the filters out and just rinse with warm water. Have not had it long but I would imagine a soap solution/dish washing liquid would work fine for a greasier situation.
  • Question: I'm a finisher and work with a grinder for 10 hours a day where I'm over top of metal dust. Will this mask keep me protected?

    Answer: Yes, this mask protects against dust and particulate.

    Answer: Replace the filters when breathing becomes too difficult, a filter is torn, punctured, or otherwise damaged, or you are sure the respirator is properly sealed to your face but you can still smell and/or taste the pollutant(s) for which you are wearing the respirator.

    Answer: No, this is just a dust mask. It doesn't even filter fumes.
  • Question: How do you clean the filters? Is it possible? They are expensive.

    Answer: I have not found a cleanable filter, but the cartridges are not too expensive.
