Bachmann Boxcars 16122 Editorial Review
The Bachmann Trains Chesapeake and Ohio model crane is a heavy and well-made addition to any HO layout. It comes with a small "tool" to control the boom and hook which can be adjusted up and down. However, the boom and work car combination can pose a problem on 18" radius curves, as the boom swings outside the work car, which can derail the crane or catch on cradle sides. Nonetheless, it is a fun and realistic set that can create derailment scenarios or other work situations. The crane inclination angle and up and down hook is adjustable manually, making it a very realistic and detailed crane model. While there may be some issues with keeping it on track, it fits well with other model train collections. Just beware that it is at a scale of HO.
