Rated: R Format: Blu-ray Blu-ray Editorial Review
The Alien 6-film Collection is a highly recommended collection for fans of the franchise. The films are crisp and clean, with surround sound that enhances the viewing experience. The collection includes both the theatrical and special edition versions of the first four films, giving viewers the option to choose. While there are not a lot of special features on the discs for the first four movies, the newer movies have more special features. The collection also comes with digital codes for all the movies, which includes additional special features not found on the discs. The only downside is that the Blu-ray quality for Aliens and Alien: Resurrection is not as good as expected, with noticeable grain in parts of the movie. Overall, this collection is a great addition to any DVD/blu-ray collection.
