iJDMTOY Daytime Running Light Modules Editorial Review
The iJDMTOY 1 LED Daytime Running Light Automatic OnOff Switch Controller Module Box is intended to automatically turn on the LED lights when the ignition is started. Several customers have said that this is not the case and that the lights only come on when the headlights are turned on. One user had to use a fuse to limit the current of power from the battery. Another customer purchased two controllers and installed them for their needs. While it worked for some, it did not work for others. One user stated that the module had melted after running it with heavy rain, but they are willing to buy it again if they can find a better location for it. The product has a 3 amp in-line fuse, so it may not support standard Quartz fog lamp set or other high drain applications, but it will still work independently of the factory-installed light system. The product does not come with any instructions for installation.
