Product Description
Nooelec SAWbird+ NOAA Barebones - Premium Saw Filter & Cascaded Ultra-Low Noise LNA Module for NOAA Applications. 137MHz Center Frequency.
About This Item
Introducing the NooElec SAWbird NOAAベアボーン - the ultimate solution for capturing stunning weather images from NOAA satellites. This premium SAW filter and cascaded ultra-low noise LNA module is designed specifically for NOAA applications, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability. Featuring a highly efficient 5 MHz band pass area around 137.5 MHz, the SAWbird + NOAA module provides a minimum gain of 30 dB within this range while effectively attenuating signals outside of it. With its precision-engineered high-performance SAW filter, you can experience unparalleled clarity and accuracy in capturing weather data. The SAWbird + series is built with two ultra-low noise LNAs that are meticulously shielded with dual EMI shields, offering superior protection and isolation for each delicate LNA.
Additionally, the module includes a convenient M3 mounting hole, allowing for easy installation in a custom enclosure or using standard hardware. To provide flexibility, the SAWbird + NOAA module offers three power options. For bias tee supported SDRs like NESDR SMArTee, we recommend using the SMA output port with a power input ranging from 3V to 5V DC. Alternatively, you can utilize the external power options via a micro USB port or power input header (female 0.1 header) with a recommended power input range of 3.3V to 5.5V DC. For added peace of mind, the SAWbird includes overvoltage protection circuitry that allows it to function with voltages up to DC 12V.
However, we advise against long-term use with high voltages, as it may compromise the device's performance and longevity. Please note that damages caused by overvoltage conditions are not covered under the standard one-year warranty. Bring your NOAA satellite imaging to new heights with the NooElec SAWbird NOAAベアボーン. Its premium SAW filter and cascaded ultra-low noise LNA design make it the ideal choice for any NOAA application.
Capture breathtaking weather images and stay ahead of the forecast with this exceptional module. Please visit the NooElec product page on nooelec.com for more detailed information on the SAWbird NOAAベアボーン.
