ELK Vapor Barrier Tape is a 9 Mil Poly Tape ideal for crawlspace encapsulations, marine use as well as carpet padding, masking, and underlayment. The tape comes in white and is 4 inches wide by 180 feet long. Reading through customers' Q&As and reviews, the tape appears to be superior and well worth the price. Its ability to stick well is one of its most desirable features, particularly when attached to plastic, PVC, or foam board. Regarding concrete and brick surfaces, the tape hasn't been tested for use, but it does not work well on cold concrete surfaces. It is worth cleaning the concrete thoroughly and, if necessary, using a strong adhesive glue on it before applying the tape.
