Users can power the box off of a 30A receptacle, but it will only output 30 Amps instead of the 50 Amps to its full capacity. Overall, the product has received positive reviews from satisfied customers who have used it on Construction sites, county fairgrounds, and for additional power distribution at an outdoor music venue.
