Answer: Wouldn't you want one to shut you electric motor off? This will not do that, you need an electric cut off switch. This would work just to unload compressor but not shut motor off. -

Will this work with a Honda GX240 gas motor?
Answer: I do not know that answer. Gas powered usually have a cable to throttle to lower idle when in idle or governed phase.
