Horror Editorial Review
**** The reception of this early 80s horror film is overwhelmingly positive among fans, showcasing its nostalgic charm and engaging campiness. Many viewers regard it as a classic slasher film that embodies the fun and thrills of the genre, recommending it to fellow horror enthusiasts. The release by Kino Lorber is particularly praised for its high-quality transfer, which outshines the typical VHS-to-DVD conversions often seen in older films. Fans appreciate that the film has been presented in a suitable aspect ratio, enhancing the viewing experience significantly. While the use of a DVD-R format has drawn some criticism, many reviewers prioritize the quality of the film transfer over the medium itself. They value the effort made to source the best prints and deliver a visually appealing product. The clear picture quality and features like the original movie trailer further elevate the film's appeal, inviting viewers to enjoy this cult classic any time of the year, with many making it a ritualistic viewing on occasions such as New Year's Eve. From all corners, the sentiment is clear: this film is a beloved staple for horror fans looking to relive the excitement of slasher flicks from the past. **
