Can I use this on automobile carpets?
Answer: While Rustoleum is supposed to work, Duplicolor fabric and vinyl works better on visors and fabrics because it is thinner and absorbs better. Duplicolor is suggested for all cloth fabrics and rugs, while Rustoleum is suggested for vinyl and plastic only. -

Considering using this on my pop up camper seat cushions instead of reupholstering them. Thoughts?
Answer: This product works on vinyl if the color is worn, but not for any holes or tears. It adheres to carpets, seats, dashboards, door panels, and restores color on vinyl, simulated leather, and some fabrics. It provides excellent adhesion that won't rub off, crack, or peel, with fast drying and flexible coating. Ideal for use on vinyl furniture, luggage, car seats, car door panels, dashboards, floor mats, & more. -

Can you paint over this vinyl paint with regular paint after?
Answer: This product adheres to carpets, seats, dashboards, and door panels. Restores color on vinyl, simulated leather, and some fabrics. It provides excellent adhesion that won't rub off, crack, or peel. Dries to the touch in 10 minutes, to handle in 1 hour, and fully dry in 24 hours. -

Would this paint work on a roll-up awning? I don't want to make it too stiff to roll up neatly.
Answer: This product was sprayed on vinyl before recovering the motorcycle seat, and the paint was flexible. It may depend on the fabric. It is suggested to try it. -

Can I use this to respray the inside of my nylon ice fishing tent as the factory coating is coming off and not just a one word NO answer would be help?
Answer: Yes, but it will have an odor afterward for a while. -

Answer: This product is for vinyl and/or leather upholstery. It is not recommended for fabric. -

Answer: The paint adhered well but made the fabric stiff. It is suggested to use 3-4 cans for a small chair or normal car seat. -

How bright is the gloss black, and how flat is the flat black?
Answer: The Navy Blue Glossy is quite shiny. -

Anyone try this on nylon? I'd like to use it to touch up a faded stroller.
Answer: The material is not coarse enough for the paint to bite into and will eventually start flaking off.
