Do most people typically add salt with this rub being that it has no salt? I want flavor but not have it salty either.
Answer: I really love the fact that this rub doesn’t have all the sodium so it can be used by anyone - and I absolutely love salt!! Also, I find salt to be one of those personal choices as to how salty a person may or may not enjoy. When I’ve used the Chairman I did a short brine to infuse a bit of salt before adding the rub. This rub is the bomb! -
Question:
How many turkeys will 1 package season?
Answer: One package of Chairman of the Bird will easily season a large 25 lbs + turkey with some leftover. For smaller birds It will season 2+ 12-16 lb turkeys. My rule of thumb is one Chairman for every 25-30 Lbs of Bird. Thanks for asking. -

Can it be used on a turkey baked in a bag?
Answer: I think so I would just make sure to start by coating your turkey with olive oil then the rub. Hope this helps!! -

The ingredient list says warm/premium spices. what are these spices or can you tell me if they are aip (autoimmune paleo) compliant?
Answer: The warm/premium spices in the Chairman of the Bird blend are fully compliant for LOW FODMAP AIP diets! The Chairman does have 1 ingredient that is a fructan, Onion, and it is > 10% of the seasoning rub. In practice, this results in a super tiny amount > 1/100th ounce per serving of turkey/chicken etc. We hope this answer is helpful and answers your question. If not please let us know. -

Could you use this before frying - between skin and meat
Answer: Absolutely! I’d add a bit of olive oil / butter as well to help it adhere between skin & meat. I also toss Chairman inside the cavity. Happy frying!
