OLCLSS Accessories 13-in-one Editorial Review
The joystick replacement kit has garnered a mixed reception from customers, primarily emphasizing the balance between effectiveness and the demands of installation. Many users praised the kit for its functionality, noting that it successfully addressed the prevalent "stick drift" issue, restoring their controllers to nearly new performance levels. For DIY enthusiasts or those willing to invest time and patience, the kit proved to be an economically viable alternative to purchasing an entirely new controller. Installation, however, was often described as challenging. Several reviewers emphasized the need for meticulous care during the disassembly and reassembly process, advising future users to take time to keep track of the differing screw lengths and to handle delicate components, like the ribbon cables, with extreme caution. While some found it manageable with the provided tools, others preferred using their own, citing higher quality as a reason. Visual aids, such as YouTube tutorials, were commonly recommended as helpful resources to simplify the process. Despite some nitpicking concerning the quality of the included tools and components, many customers concluded that the kit provided great value for the money, especially when Considering the cost of a new controller. However, not all experiences were positive. A handful of reviews reported problems with calibration post-installation, with some users expressing frustration over faulty replacements that didn't perform as expected. Issues like certain joysticks being tension-sensitive during movement further contributed to these unfavorable accounts. Overall, while the joystick replacement kit is seen as a practical and economical solution to address stick drift, potential buyers should be prepared for a labor-intensive installation process, and it's advisable to seek out additional guidance to achieve the best results. **
