Answer: The delay that does not feature a dotted eighth note is indeed referred to as The Edge. However, in 3/4 time signature, the dotted eighth note is equivalent to the quarter note triplet which is used in the delay to create the signature sound of The Edge. Therefore, it is not a fail.
