According to reviews, the clear nail polish trick seems to have worked for a few people with screws that started to back out. However, it is advisable not to over-tighten the screws for the adapter as they may slip and slowly start to back out. Customers who had these adapters attached to their 6x30 trencher rims have reported that they fit perfectly on the 17mm hexes and handle 4s.
