Answer: Item # M 6053 does have the rubber seal but this item # M 6054 does not. -

I'm replacing a round roller, not a flat one. Does that make any difference?
Answer: Check to see if the channel into which the roller will ride has a round or a flat bottom. If your channel has a round bottom this flat roller will probably not work, or may not work smoothly. -

Do they sell just the wheels?
Answer: I can't say I've seen them offered anywhere as just wheels for this type of application. They could be sold somewhere of course. I found these to be exactly what I needed so I was very happen with them as offered here. Took less than 5 minutes to replace them both. -

How is the glass protected when installing the screw?
Answer: There Is no protection provided with this product. My original set had nylon guides. I ended up using a bit of electrical tape around the insert part and on the edge of the glass where the track touched. This product worked but it is very cheap quality. Not like the original. I not sure how long it will last. Seems to be made of very light weight aluminum and the original seemed to be a combo of heavier aluminum with stainless steel hardware. -

Where on the glass door must the hole be drilled for these?
Answer: This is for pre-existing hole in doors. -
