The vibrations and flashing LED will indicate that somebody is on the door, making it perfect for people who have hearing challenges. This doorbell has a range of 1000ft, and it's easy to install. But make sure that there is no interference within 50 to 70ft as the frequency range of this doorbell is within this range. The hearing impaired doorbell button uses 23A 12V Alkaine battery to operate. And yes, you can set the volume to off and have the light come on and stay on when the button is pushed. You can also turn off the light by pressing the light. The wireless doorbell comes with two portable call buttons that can be carried around the house. However, it's not clear if an additional unit can be added. And the operating directions can be a little challenging. This wireless doorbell is an excellent investment for anyone who wants to stay alert to visitors without missing a beat.
