Answer: Yes, Purit can remove impurities like ammonia, phosphate, silicate, and heavy metals to provide a better environment for your aquatic creatures. -

Answer: Nothing special. Usually Purit has a bag included in the jar which is nice unlike purigen. Just fill the bag as necessary and plop into a higher flow area. After a few months just replace the contents. Don’t toss the bag because Purit is very fine like Purigen so not just any bag is suitable. Make sure to monitor your water for the routine alk, calc, mg -

Answer: There is no reason they cannot be used together but it may be overkill. Purit is like carbon on steroids. -

Can i run this with chemi pure blue
Answer: You can use chemi pure blue at the same time (not in the same container). But, Purit will work alone very well.. is an excellent product -

Can I mix this together with carbon media and put them in a reactor?
Answer: The only possible problem I can imagine is you might end up running too much carbon in your system, ending up stripping too much out of your system, because Purit itself is a mixture with carbon in it. -

How much do you need for 100 gal saltwater aquarium?
Answer: According to the instructions that appears on the box you need 400ml for 100 gallons up to six months. But it’s depends on other parameters too like how many fish you have in your tank and how much food you’re giving to your fishes every day The recommendations from the purit manufacture is for an average use. -
Question:
does this come with a bag?
Answer: Mine did not come with a bag. I used a 150 micron filter bag to hold mine together.
