**** The Sunco Lighting 6 Pack Goof Rings for 6 Inch Recessed Lights have emerged as a commendable solution for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking to upgrade or renovate their lighting fixtures. These goof trim rings, designed with a durable plastic material and a matte finish, are tailored to cover gaps around recessed lighting fixtures, particularly when replacing older can lights with new LED retrofit options. Customers have hailed these goof rings as a game changer. Many users transitioning from outdated brushed nickel fixtures to modern LED options have noted how the rings effectively conceal unsightly gaps left after installation. The goof rings not only provide a clean and uniform aesthetic but can also save time and effort by eliminating the need for patching, sanding, or painting drywall. Installation appears easy and user-friendly. Several reviewers commented that they did not find it necessary to glue the rings in place; simply setting them atop the lights was sufficient for a sturdy fit. However, some users experienced minor issues with fixture stability, particularly with certain retrofits. A few creative solutions, such as adding adhesive caulk, successfully addressed these concerns. While most reviews lean positively, there are suggestions for improvement regarding sealing air gaps. A couple of customers expressed a desire for a silicone or foam ring option to enhance insulation further. Nevertheless, the overall reception has been that the goof rings reliably get the job done, showcasing their purpose in practical applications for modernizing home lighting. **
