The Hammer Tacker is a lightweight and easy-to-use tool that makes stapling tasks quick and efficient. Users can easily change staples in a matter of seconds and get right back to work. Overall, this product is highly regarded and Considered a good investment. However, some customers have experienced issues with the spring popping out after forcefully using the tool. While this may be a minor flaw, it should be noted that the tool never jammed during use. Additionally, a few customers reported missing spring clip mechanisms in their orders, but were able to exchange the defective staplers at a local store. One aspect that could be improved upon is the depth of the staple. Users have discovered that if the tool is not hit just right, the staples may not go all the way in, requiring an additional hammering step. Furthermore, the handle design could be enhanced to prevent accidental finger hits when hammering on wood. Some customers have also faced compatibility issues with certain staple sizes. Despite purchasing Bostich heavy duty 1/2 12mm staples, they do not fit the tool, despite the staple box stating that they are compatible. Another customer also had trouble with 5/16" 8mm staples being too wide to fit properly.
