Answer: It will come with two batteries. It is a fantastic tool, can't fault it at all. -

Are the batteries and charger genuine Dewalt parts?
Answer: They are absolutely genuine, at least mine are anyway. What I did notice is that the cutouts in the case foam are for the smaller 1.5 or 2.0Ah battery so they may have been changed out by the retailer. I've been using mine heavily on my friend's house build and the batteries are performing tremendously well. I've compared them with my other DeWalt 5.0Ah batteries (of which I have many) and they are identical.
